Background
Frobel Academy has built their campus Infrastructure in sucha way that emphasis on experiential learning and target todevelop learners holistically. Only an active school life cancontribute to the physical, emotional, and intellectualdevelopment of children and ensure self-efficacy, self-esteem,socialization, and mental discipline. Using their state of theart, beautiful, and expansive campus, Frobel Academyadhered to a hybrid model of online and physical classes, andused the spaces available to ensure experiential learning forthe students. The playful nature of the environment increasesstudents’ engagement with the school. The core purpose ofthis school is to ensure inclusive education.
Objectives
■ Having an innovative infrastructure that allows to bring a full holistic and experiential teaching facilities.

■ Accommodating all the facilities both in online and offline platforms so that students don’t remain behind regardless of the situation.

The Idea
■ Each lab, collaborative space, and special needs center hasbeen designed keeping in mind that children learn in differentways. Teachers use the various spaces to conduct lessons anddeliver learning. The wide availability of different types ofspaces allows the teachers to plan and deliver their lessons indifferent ways that are meaningful and exciting for youngminds.

■ The big infrastructure allows the school to organize nationaland social events which help students to adapt to the culture.

■ Location has been chosen and designed by a famousarchitect of Bangladesh, so that it can expand further forbetter development.
Execution
■ The spaces designed for all the students including specialneeds children (such as those with autism, down syndromeand other sensory needs) ensure that each child receives oneto one attention from special needs teachers that lead togreater learning for the child.

■ Equipment has been placed that enhances a child’s physicaland mental strength and equip them to get integrated inmainstream classrooms.

■ The Bright Minds Shine Department consists of EnrichmentCentre for one-to-one classes and the Wiggle Room offerscustomized learning tools such as Sound-Proof corner, zipline, swings, and ladders that increase physical agility amongchildren.

■ The infrastructure built especially for special needs childrenallows them to participate in physical and academic activitiesthat are designed for their personal and academicenhancement. They also get opportunities to participate indifferent events and contests.

■ Apart from physical assessments, teachers are also usingvarious online platforms to assess students’ learningdevelopment.

■ They audit each teacher in different classrooms, online andin person, and fill out observation forms which are sent to thehead of the school and are later discussed with the teachingstaff on a one-to-one basis so that they get opportunities forimprovement.
